Your traditional skills aren't too bad. Perhaps you should press harder on whatever color pencils you're using, though. Force the color onto your picture. =] Eee...I love the folds of her dress, and her hands are well drawn.

Her right knee seems a bit oddly placed, but I don't quite know how you would go about fixing it... >:

Loool, I remember when all classes on the first floor were canceled because of the flooding. Unfortunately that only affected me once in my freshman year. Did you guys lose power, too? I <3 power outages in Lowell.

I thought I was pressing pretty hard already, lol. @__@ The scanner didn't pick up a lot of the skin shading, but the piece I have up now is a lot more vibrant than the actual thing, so I shouldn't really be one to complain. xD

My friend said that I tend to hide hands in my pictures, so I wanted to draw both hands. But then I didn't know what to do with them. @__@ Lol, I was about to have her hold something in her left hand but I didn't have a straightedge. Woeeee. OTL

Yeah, crossed legs are evil. I don't know how to fix it either. xD

Oh, right. The windows got all steamed up in some classrooms, so children drew pictures or really obvious Chinese characters on them (since we had a test today lol. Our teacher laughed along, then made us erase it). The winds were howling all day as well.
